Even after corrections she still goes back and chews forbidden items.

Well, don't let her do that, then.

Is she a puppy? If so, corrections aren't necessary, and may be harmful.
Distraction works better. Puppies explore the world with their mouths.
They don't have hands, so must use their teeth. When they're cutting teeth,
it's even worse. What we did with Kiba was keep a lap full of toys handy at
all times. When he tried to bite or chew us, we stuffed a toy in his mouth.
If he dropped it and went for hands again, in goes another toy. Yelping in
pain if he bit really helped teach him to be gentle, as well. Once he
realized it was OK to chew on *this* toy, but not *this* thing, life became
easier. But you must be vigilant. If she's a puppy, she wants to put
everything in her mouth. Just like a human baby. If she's getting into
things you don't want her to, put them up out of her reach. That's easy
enough. Best of luck.

Pick up every forbidden item that you can, and wall off the rest. Be
very neat.

If your dog does find a forbidden item and begin chewing on it, remove
the forbidden item and replace it with an approved chewtoy.

Keep your dog busy. Walks. Games. Training. Running around with
other dogs. A tired dog is a good dog.

If you absolutely can't be there to supervise, place your dog in his
crate with a safe chewtoy. He should be so tired at that point that
he's glad for quiet time to sleep.
