Default Border Collie pup - exercise

Can anyone offer any advice on how much exercise a Border Collie pup
should have. I have a 10 week old BC who will soon be able to go out,
having had his vaccinations. I know they have a lot of energy but am
mindful of the fact he is still young and growing and don't want to
damage his bones in the future.

What I'd do is provide several short sessions a day of romping and
running, rather than one or two long ones. Maybe 5-10 minutes after
going out to piddle, and a piddle stop before coming back inside.
Walking is fine, too, as one or two sessions, but start out with a trip
around the block at max, and build up from there.
