Border Collie pup - exercise
Can anyone offer any advice on how much exercise a Border Collie pup
should have. I have a 10 week old BC who will soon be able to go out, having had his vaccinations. I know they have a lot of energy but am mindful of the fact he is still young and growing and don't want to damage his bones in the future. Thanks, Lynda |

What I'd do is provide several short sessions a day of romping and
running, rather than one or two long ones. Maybe 5-10 minutes after going out to piddle, and a piddle stop before coming back inside. Walking is fine, too, as one or two sessions, but start out with a trip around the block at max, and build up from there. Jo Wolf Martinez, Georgia |
