Td said in part...
Fay's remnants have pounded mountain counties, Charlotte and the Piedmont since Tuesday..... ______________________ Td, Hi, Fay is such a little storm but it sure has made the rounds. I know your area needs the rain but when it is coming down that quickly it often drains off instead of soaking in. I know you don't need the severe thunderstorms especially with it being tinder dry up there. I know you won't mind missing out on tornadoes either. It seems odd to think of tropical storms arriving in NC from the interior, usually it is the coastline. Anyway, I am glad for the folks that are getting the much needed rain up your way. I am feeling for the folks that live in Louisiana. They do not need a visit from Gustav or anyone else on the TS/Hurricane list. I just read that Mayor Nagin left the Democratic convention to go home to NOLA and arrange for evacuatons if they are needed. Be Free.....Judy |
