Another loose dog saga
We have one neighbor whose house is physically close to ours, in this rural
area. She likes small dogs, but has no fence and lets the dog-du-jour out by opening the door, dog goes out, she closes the door and leaves the dog outside for hours. Her last dog was mauled by something and died. Now she's got another little dog, a peppy, friendly thing who weighs maybe 10 lbs. He spends much of his time now in my yard, barking at our crew through the fence, which has necessitated keeping our dogs locked in the house all day, as I'm afraid they'll challenge the fence (and win) with him on the other side. He's often loose, including sometimes all night. I can't understand people. She's got a good job, only supports herself, seems to be pretty frugal, so she can EASILY afford a fence. After the last dog's tragic demise, I'd've thought she'd be more careful. Sheesh. flick 100785 |

They can't seem to understand why there little dogs keep disappearing when we have at least three coyotes running around the acreage. |

Flick said in part...
After the last dog's tragic demise, I'd've thought she would be more careful. _______________________________ Flick, Sadly, I am not surprised. I guess that is the difference between "us" and "them". My dogs are mine, with me until the end. I do my best to care for them and protect them as I am sure you do also. Your neighbor apparently sees them as disposable and if her dog of the day is lost, stolen, or killed she will just go out and get another one. I am sorry to hear that your dogs' routine is disrupted by your inhumane neighbor and I wish her little dog luck because that is about all he has going for him. Be Free.....Judy |
