Size it to the Kees. While the Furminator works fine on short
coats, it seems to work best on medium coats like Friday's.

I have all three sizes and use the largest on my elkhounds most often.
The length of the teeth are the same, it's the area of the blade that cuts
time

I didn't think the difference in size between medium and large
justified the price difference. I know we don't groom dogs to the
extent that diddy does.

Beanie has lots of long hair, but she's no Keeshond or Elkhound. She
had so much dead hair in her that earlier this year, she may as well
have been.

I started with the medium. With two Elkhounds, I thought a larger size
would be nice, but I went to the smaller size for legs and face.

Then i bought the larger size to cut grooming time.

I find myself grabbing the large one most often, and finishing with the
small one on details.

I rarely use the medium size one any more. In fact, I think I loaned it to
Reka's Co-owner. I'm not sure the medium size one is even here.
