to buy toys for tugging when Harley and Hannah would rather tug over a
small stuffed toy.....
I can't even imagine how both of the can get their mouths on one
stuffed hamburger (true to size) but they'd rather tug on that then a
knotted rope...

My dogs seem happiest with their "pelts" (empty toys that used to be
stuffed and squeak). They've all been known to play tug with a tennis
ball. Generally in the mouth of one, and the other comes over and
orients their mouth sideways. I flinch.

yep that's it... the empty pelts are the favorites... the sound of
tearing fabric is common... just makes them tug harder.

I don't know which is funnier, Hannah pulling Harley around the room
or Harley giving one 'real' tug and sending Hannah flying...

Toys are just no fun until every piece of stuffing has been pulled from
them. We still have pieces of a Teddy Bear from last Easter in the yard that
they play with. Just when I think it's all gone someone comes up with a
piece of Teddy Bear that they are playing with.
