Default [OT] - Golf

God help me, I think I am going to be an addict.

Went for the first time yesterday with almost-father-in-law, a-brother-il,
and a-grandfather-il while the ladies had the bridal shower. Not bad.
Played horribly (shot a 65 over 9 holes, par was 35) but had a great time!

Had a bunch of laughs, and a couple of nice shots. Only lost 5 balls!!

I hope you have the $$$'s! ))

Golfing is fearly expensive hobby. Depending on the greens you
go to and all. The best ones are pretty costly per time. And of
course one can not get good without practice.

Then again most hobbies are pretty expensive.

I am glad you had a great time.

And that Gen doesn't heave things at you when you go off on every
weekend to feed your new addiction.

Indeed. And some people do it daily. Like Willie Nelson.

Clubs I got free, my dad's leftovers. However, I have been informed by
Gen's dad that Iif I like it, and I do, I should ask for new ones for
christmas. So I get one christmas gift, that works for me.

Gen's grandfather is a member at quite a few clubs around here, plus
there are a bunch of public ones.

Hey, if I go 4 or 5 times a season I will be happy. I will probably go more
to the driving range.

My boss always refers to golf as "a good walk ruined". Some days I can't
disagree, but it's so much fun!
