Heads Up; If you have or know someone who has a diabetic pet
Haven't been on here in ages.... but wanted to get this information out.
This afternoon, I got a message from a friend who works as a scientist in the pharmaceutical industry and who has a diabetic pet, so don't know which source she got the information from..... but trust her for truthfulness. The FDA has closed down the only supplier for Vetulin. The supplier will ration out the remaining stock (friend's vet will get 5 bottles per week.... he sells 5-10 per week) until it is gone. Pets will have to be transitioned to human insulin, which will mean starting from scatch to adjust the dose. Different needles/syringes will also be needed. Please share this information. Thanks.
