Default Recommendation dog food for tibetan terrier puppy wanted

Hi,

I am expecting the arrival of a new Tibetan terrier puppy shortly.

15 Years ago I had two Shitz Tzu which were on a diet of Science diet
light and both had skin problems and or mites and were uncurable.
Needless to say I wouldn't touch this brand again.

I recently had a Lhasa Apso the best dog I ever had which was on a
diet of Iams dog food and had diabetes.

I went to the pet store to prepare for the arrival of my new puppy and
they recommended the waltham brand.

They claimed that Iams is not the same quality it used to be and they
wouldn.t recommend it.

I want to stick to dry foods as Ithink they are safer.

What other brands would you suggest or do you concurr with the Waltham
brand?

Sorry about that. The breed itself (shitz tzu) is somewhat problematic on
these issues from what I've been told.

I am not familiar with this brand.

It depends. If going dry, it's best to stick with ones with least amount of
wheat, corn, or soy. All of these tend to lead to allergen issues.
