They are still advertising their dogsled tours: http://www.adventureswhistler.com/dogsled-tours This is cruelty that eclipses that of Michael Vick. We should all write letters of protest to this company, and demand at least an explanation, and an apology is not good enough. They should be required to pay for the lifetime care and rehoming of at least 100 huskies which will help offset their attempt to maximize profits by so casually and horrifically murdering (this was in no way euthanasia) these dogs. Here is their website: http://www.adventureswhistler.com/dogsled-tours Bugger the hell out of 'em at: ph: 604 932 0647 fax: 604 932 0657 email: Paul and Muttley |

I'm sad to be Canadian. Although there is no sense in "what if's", I have to wonder why the worker didn't refuse to do the evil deed, and report the company BEFORE the dogs were killed. Fine and dandy for him that he gets Worker's Compensation because his heinous actions caused him stress, but isn't there a personal responsibility and moral stance that should have been taken here? |

You bet. He's probably just as guilty as the kennel's owner. The investigation is ongoing. Who knows what they'll turn up? Sigh. -- Dogman |
