There was short video shot of this on the MSNBC news pages....

Yeh, heard about the rescue on the radio news tonight. Quite a relief.
Be cautious when contributing to Best Friends; specify any donations for disaster relief only. They do do a good job in disaster work, MUCH better than HSUS.... but they are both paying lobbyists to promote AR projects in state and national legistions. Got that last bit of information from the lobbyist for a state "federation" of dog clubs when talking to her about a bill before a state house of reps week before last. I knew the HSUS had a full-blown office in that state, but not about the presence of Best Friends. "Our" lobbyist gets her annual registration as lobbyist and her parking fee during the legistative session paid..... The AR groups pay much more..... Jo Wolf Martinez, Georgia |
