Is your dogs rough play appropriate
http://thebark.com/content/your-dog%...ay-appropriate
Interesting article . Pip Jrt plays rough with certain dogs and is more polite with others. His best friend is Harry Bichon and he treats him like one of his toys though when I've stopped Pip, Harry will encourage him to play again . Harry lets him know when he's had enough and Pip respects that. -- Alison, |

Is your dogs rough play appropriate
I'm used to rough play..... that's just been the style with all of my
terriers. The last mixed breed, no terrier in the woodpile, had games She played.... like bashing into another dog with a shoulder, knocking the dog over.... then standing there in a pose that clearly said, "And so there! I AM THE QUEEN!" The guys just ignored her when she did that.... and went on about their business. However, when they were beating up on each other very happily, she bounced around them at a distance like a referee.... sometimes complaining. With all of the guys, they've played Hard, with jaws open or slack and often with tongue hanging out.... Jo Wolf Martinez, Georgia, USA |
