Default Singles (& gays some places), depression, and several othertopics

I think I'm going to discuss this with my
friend Dani (the one who gave me
Rocsi) as something to mutally consider
doing; she's the local person who knows
my dogs best, and I hers, so we'd be
good emergency contacts.

That's an important consideration. Lana, whom I post about above, is
pampered endlessly, but she's miserable because she doesn't _know
anybody.
=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0My younger sister and I have
discussed several times what to do with
the dogs should anything happen to me;
it *also* never occurred to me to wonder
about legalities of the situation in her
case, since she's family.

17 states now allow trusts for pets, but, we're told, the terms are
often violated.

At a meeting next week, we'll hear from a group called 'Pet Trust'.
If there's anything significant, I'll post it.

Just because humans are slow and can't smell or hear
very well doesn't mean they don't possess a primitive
type of intelligence.
