Default Help with dog found today

Hi
Can you help with a dog we found today,
its a Yorkshire terrier with some ode habits.
1/It cant bark or cry -- not a sound
2/it stands on three legs when it comes over to see you.
This dog has been seen by a vet today and is in ok health with no leg
problems.
thanks

Ps its happily sleeping under the family pets.

1. Noise-making -- Some dogs do not make noise in a new home for an
extended period; they are being on their best behavior. So just
wait.... ANd if the dog acts like it is barking and you only get a hiss
or a whisper, it has been surgically de-barked for a medical reason or
so it would be permitted to stay in it's home because it's a habitual
barker....

2. Does he a.) move on only three legs or does he sit or b.) stand in
front of you with one front foot off the ground but moves on all four?
If a.), this may be due to an injury, or a bid for sympathy, or "just
because".
If b.), this in not uncommon and tells you that the dog is either
waiting for some response from you, or is unsure of itself.
