Default I finally got my show puppy!!!!

I picked up my "show puppy" last night from my good friend & his breeder,
Karimar Kennels. (www.karimarkennels.com). "Rusty" is CanCh Ambersand's
Wild Duck x. Karimar's Girl Next Door CD, CGC.

He is a fox red boy and was the pick of the litter of eleven, ten live. He
is about 8.5 lbs. and outweighs the cat by 1.5 lbs. We have been working on
his crate training--going very well, housebreaking--only 3 accidents and 10
successes (by taking him out every 2 hours, but oh well...part of
puppyhood!), and a little bit of his show-dog stuff but only 5 or so times a
day.

He is very impressed with the guinea pig, who is equally impressed with him.
(Fearless little bugger she is.) He was fairly unaware of the cat for about
18 hours after he came home, but now she's been circling him for hours.
Though she was strolling to the stairs behind him when he turned around and
went "CHASE IT!" She went "Oh SH*T!" and split. He has seen the rats, but
as they live well out of his viewing range (on top of the entertainment
center) they do not affect his day-to-day living in a major way.

He is greatly impressed with his plush squeaky toy. We also think chewies
are cool, and the knuckle bone smells AWESOME but we aren't sure how that
one works yet.

Some of Rusty's info is available on his webpage, though I haven't finished
the pedigree yet:

I am hoping for a CDX minimum, Can/AmCh but will settle for Can. if
necessary, and would like to do some agility but he's too little to start
that and I have plenty of time to look into what I want to do in that
direction.

Anyways, I'm thrilled with him so far...he's such a confident but not
over-confident little thing. He's not afraid of much (though the vacuum was
NOT cool) but he also doesn't try to take on anything he shouldn't. I'm
just happy to FINALLY have the puppy that I've been waiting all this time
for! Some of you remember me on here 7 years ago...I've been waiting for
him since then!
