Default Okay, Kenzie MUST Have Basenji in Her :}

Today I saw a woman with a young puppy who reminded me a LOT of MacKenzie. She
had the same facial shape and expression, the same tail, some of the same
coloring, and a similar build. I asked what she was.

Basenji.

I saw a women with a sheltie, talking with her neighbor, who had a
Golden Retriever in his yard.

The Golden reminded me of another Golden I once saw. You should have
been there.

Oh, come on! Tell me you never played the "what is my pound puppy?" game?

We love our dogs, and it's fun to try to guess what their ingredients are.
Sometimes it even helps in their training to know what kind of intelligence
and activity levels to expect.

I would not have guessed Basenji from her description (plus that face that
they are somewhat unusual dogs), but then again, I would NEVER have guessed
English Shepherd for my own pound puppy, and that's almost certainly what he
is.

Lighten up, guys.
