Invisible Fence
Subject: Invisible Fence From: "Paul" Date: Mon, Sep 1, 2003 5:35 PM Message-id: Do you people really believe that someone is going to sit hear and read all that garbage. I can only ASSuME that that VAST majority of people will stop reading your replies after about 20 paragraphs. LOL If anyone has had a problem with their Invisble Fence system can they please respond to my original post. Hi I don't see your original post. I would not recommend Invisible Fencing to anyone, especially if they have a hunting dog or sighthound. When a dog sees movement or smells something irresistible, well they will go thru it no problemo whatsoever. I have known quite a few people that did not heed my advice with their Chessies and unfortunately the dogs got out and got hurt. Also this type of fencing does not keep ANYTHING or ANYONE OUT except YOUR dog now that cannot get back in. : ( Lots of PHYSICAL and MENTAL activity for your dog ,and not leaving your dog unattented for long periods, and a good cedar stockade fence 6 feet high and securely installed is the best thing, IMNSHO. ; ) Woofs Paulette & The Magnificent Seven~ |

The IF would only be used to minimize the area, if that. Gwen |

Well, his dogs wound up being bonded and then had to leave the island as they made such a nuisance of themselves. Of course it was the owner who is a nuisance for sure Paulette~ |

No way. They would escape. These fences IMO are not that safe and I would never feel safe with just an IF with my dogs, even with me standing right there with them. Gwen |
