The Future Is Now?

Don't listen. Actually, I think they're lining up because they think she's about to do something that shows all the signs of having a very bad ending, no matter how positive it might seem to some people. Like I said you need to have MONEY to cover your expenses for a year, and you need a PLAN, and to really know what you want and the ability to do it. If I was her, I would get *my ducks in a row*, do a doggie sitting and visiting side line job, on my own, and then go from there. I put it in the same category as the person who's able to cook a few dishes without killing anyone, and then thinking that that must make her/him qualified to open up a successful restaurant. Which is precisely why 90% of restaurants fail within the first year. Yup. Restaurants do fail fast. Thankfully I come form a family of restauranteers that were very successful in the bus. In fact they owned a very posh restaurant for over 40 years. Of course it does help to be a great entertainer and be able to cook great. : ) That'w why this house is always filled with people! B) you're talking about the person who decided to become a "trainer" before she had the requisite skills. -- shelly (perfectly foul wench) and elliott and harriet http://home.bluemarble.net/~scouvrette |

NOW is not the time if you don't have your duck in a row. ; ) B) you're talking about the person who decided to become a "trainer" before she had the requisite skills. I hear ya. Yes and what does THAT say about the place or person that hired her,if this is true? Something like this always bugs me. I mean when someone wants to volunteer to help me in rescue, they are glued to me for a good two weeks, ifn ot longer before they are allowed to do anything. Same thing in the restaurant business. The waiters and waitresses served us in the private dining room before they were allowed to serve the paying clientale. So they knew what good service and food was all about. -- shelly (perfectly foul wench) and elliott and harriet http://home.bluemarble.net/~scouvrette Paulette~ |
