dog litter box training
Has anyone here successfully trained a dog to use a litter box (not for
snacking)? I want to try this with my 9yo Min. Dachshund because she is constantly peeing in the house. It doesn't matter if she was just outside or if its been a couple of hours. It doesn't matter if she's recently had anything to drink or not either. She goes when she gets the urge and doesn't bother to try and hold it or let anyone know she needs to go out. She's been checked out for infections and I also ordered x-rays to make sure there wasn't anything going on that we couldn't see and she checks out fine. The only time she holds it is when she's crated which tells me that she *can* do it, she just chooses not to and I'm not going to crate her 24/7. -- Tara |
