if i wanted to use IM, i'd use IM. since i (and others) am posting to
Usenet, it's a safe assumption that i prefer this type of forum. i like
that it's not private, that it is generally archived, and that there is
a token amount of accountability.

I am so glad you asked nothing makes me
happier than to tell someone about my dogs...

i guess you missed the times others asked you about your dogs.

To speak of this is bitterness. To keep silent bitter no less; and
every way is misery.

I did not see any time other than a couple
of months ago that I was asked about my dogs, and I
posted a link to pictures of a few of my dogs and
even my family and got no response from the group at
all.. And to my knowledge have not been asked
again.....If I did miss someone asking it was
because for the most part the lousy posting
practices by group of regulars that are so snotty
over such stupid things I have not even tried to
read 90 percent of what is posted anymore....Also
becuase of lack of stimulating topics relating to
dogs other than the regular fanatic with the spay
and nueter propaganda I have seen little to prove
dog behavior group knows anything about dogs and
certianly have no idea on how to behave...

Huh????

When you are working on your Mac and you get an instant message it changes the
flow of your thinking.

At least for me.

So because I work on my Mac a lot, in my business and my rescue work, I would
prefer having a conversation thru email or on the phone and I can *talk* when I
am available and it is most convenient for me.

So I will continue to hope for a better
use of some Ng

I am sure there is a dog group specific to your breed, and you might find that
much better for you.

somewhere just havent found out why
people would waste such a large amount of time in
such a nasty mean spirited filled NG that by
gigganews guidelines should be used for the sharing

Hmmmmm this NG is typical of any I have been on tha is not MODERATED,
(something I HATE) and sometimes it does get very nasty, for sure, but it goes
on an even keel eventually.

sounds pretty
easy when you figure anyone can start one and there
is at least 1000 or more I have access to, are the

Do a google and see what ones you are interested in.

Check them out lurk a bit and then start posting.

Are you on any others now?

Is there not a hair styling NG for handsome and
dimpled people to play in.

Heeheeh

You know I cut my own hair, and everyone else's hair too, so I was amazed at the
cost of such.
