Chewing
I recently got a 8 month old little terrier. The problem is, he likes to
chew on everything. Once he tried to chew on a piece of glass, but he wasn't hurt thank God. Could I please have some tips on how to stop this behavior? Thank in advance. Abby |

In the meantime, buy him some Kongs and stuff them with peanut butter and/or cheese chunks. My local animal shelter suggested that to me for a similar problem. It helps. Canned tuna is good too, especially if mixed with peanut butter to make it stick in the Kong better. http://www.kongcompany.com/ A good place to get Kongs by mail order is off of ebay: http://search.ebay.com/search/search...BasicSearch=++ That search was not perfect, but it turned up a few. ;-) In the meantime, offer the dog things to chew on, and correct them for chewing on forbidden items. And above all, be patient! It's worth it. :-) K. -- ^,,^ Cats-haven Hobby Farm ^,,^ ^,,^ "There are millions of intelligent species in the universe, and they are all owned by cats" -- Asimov Custom handcrafts, Sterling silver beaded jewelry http://cgi3.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAP...s&userid=katra |
