yes I agree and bagel can HOLD it. I know he CAN. The problem is
that he's being a butthead dog and will pee on purpose in front of me
with the 'talk to the paw' attitude. Like I said right now he thinks
he's Large AND in Charge. So the short leash is helping.

Like i' said, last night he stirred barked (late around 4 ish) and was
told NO go back to sleep and he did for a bit. Regardless of what he
did last night he was leashed until 5 a.m. I am sure it will keep
getting better.

We have a water bowl in the bedroom for the dogs, and occasionally one
or another will drink a bit during the night or after the bedroom
door's been closed, but nobody needs to go out during the night to
pee. Dogs are usually *very* good at self-regulating their water
intake when they know they can't get outside to urinate, as long as
that's expected of them. All our dogs have free access to water
during the day, but the water bowls are often virtually untouched when
we get home.
