i'm off to Birmingham, Alabama for a week, to meet the SO's family and watch
some motorcycle racing. this will be my first time in the "real" south
(Atlanta doesn't count), and i'm not sure how well i'll go over (motorcycle
riding, tech geek, non-girly girl that i am), so i'm a bit nervous.
i'll be checking out the Civil Rights Museum for sure, anyone know of any
other "must-see" places?

meanwhile, the dogs are safe in the kennel, getting walks, playtime, and
training time. and i'm trying hard not to worry about them.
