Default dog pees on bed

Hi folks, I was wondering if anyone has any insight into this problem I'm
having. My dog is mostly toilet trained. I say mostly because whenever I
leave my bedroom door open and leave the house, he jumps up and pees on my
comforter! I have no idea as to why he must pee there, or how to correct
the problem. He doesn't pee anywhere else. I've been leaving the door
shut. But when I forget he makes me pay. It just happened again for the
3rd or 4th time in the last year. It is so aggravating!! He's about 3 years
old. Any suggestions?

My BIL's dog does this. He's not neutered (because my bil has that "he
won't be a male if I take away his nuts" complex), he's highly dominant,
totally spoiled and used to getting his own way. IMO its a
dominance-marking behavior with that particular dog, don't know if this
scenario rings true for you though.
