Problem yorkshire terrier: separation anxiety
My lovely Yorki, she is 6 years old now. We bought her from the mall while
she was 2 - 3 weeks old. She has very serious separation anxiety, according my husband. My little Yorki will bark loudly when I went out, pee on the carpet( We think it's intentionally since she will pee and bark same time - according my husband). She will follow me to everywhere I went to - that is ok since it's kind of cute. We watched tv , there are some programs teached us how let dog know that it's ok to stay home. However, none of that works....: As I said, we bought a new home. We choose this home (with a yard) because of her, however, everytime I let her into the yard herself and close the screen door. She will stay on the door and bark - loudly (like some one is killing her...). We were joking that she like to stick on the door. Anyway, is there any way can let she used to the yard and enjoy it? And is there anyway can let her stay home and happy? Thanks a lot! Any suggestion will be helpful. Doreen |
