Default Dramamine...Urgent

I've waited til the last damned minute so I apologize in advance for the
"urgent". Can anyone tell me how much Dramamine is safe for a 12lb dog?
Going on a drive tomorrow to the Boxer Bash and Pebbles is NOT a good
traveller. The info I found (home remedies for pets) says up to 50mg for a
dog. That doesn't tell me if I should start with 25mg for a small dog or
give the whole dose.

I don't just want it for the car ride but for the whole day...the drowsiness
effect. I don't want her to *want* to hobble around with all the people
around because of her ACL injury. She'll be crated most of the time (we'll
be gone 15 hours so I *have* to take her) but I'd prefer that she not fret
because she can't join in the socialization.
