doggie incontinence
My 13 year old female husky/border collie cross is incontinent. She was
responding to a very long time to phenylpropanolamine twice a day and then it didn't work anymore. We took her to the vet and he put her on DES. She took one capsule per day for three days in a row and then she is supposed to take one a week from now on. It's not working at all. it's very sad, we have old porus hardwood floors and she is wreaking havoc on them when we let her in. I'm just wondering if anyone has some ideas of how to treat her now. I read the thread on how to get rid of dog pee on the carpets. I'm going to go get some natures miracle tomorrow, but what else can I do for her.? Do they make doggie diapers for incontinence? We are drowning in pee, she is a big girl 89 pounds so she puddles lakes. She is completely unaware until it's too late. Merry |
