PetsSafe Radio Fence: Using Coax to create gaps
Has anyone successfully used shielded Coax (ala CATV cable) to create a
gap along one side of a PetSafe radio containment loop? (picture a 'D' shaped installation behind the house) The book recommended method is a double-loop of wire, but we have a large back yard and I'd like to save the work and expense of doing it that way. The book shows that you can twist the two ends to cancel the field going back to the transmitter, but this will not work for this situation. Thanks, |
