Add your prayers for Hilde

She's been in our shelter for 8 months. This morning, I took her to an event which had a blessing of the animals and a CGC test. One or the other should work, don't you think? The CGC evaluator was tough, particularly for the 'distractions' test. She had three joggers run around Hilde yelling at each other, then brought in a guy with a beard and funny hat, bounding about on crutches. Circling Hilde, he accidentally got a crutch on her tail. She squeaked, but didn't break her 'stay'. She's _such a good old girl; she deserves a nice, stable home for her remaining years. Just because humans are slow and can't smell or hear very well doesn't mean they don't possess a primitive type of intelligence. |
