Default new dog !!!

I am sitting here, not sure what hit me or what happened... I was as usual
surfing rescue sites Saturday, saw a GSD male in very poor condition. He is
Very, very thin, no fat, no meat, no muscles, matted fur and open sores. I
felt really bad for him, showed him to Morten who also felt bad. Sunday we
drove down to see him, talked to a guy at the rescue, next thing we knew we
had the poor dog on a leash and was walking him in the fields by the
rescue..... very sneaky of the rescue to let us alone with the poor dog,
giving us a chance to fall in love.
We agreed to bring Ezra by to see if the dogs would get along. Today we
went down there again with Ezra. She growled and barked a bit but behaved
rather well as we walked them both side by side in the fields. Then we took
them to an enclosure to let them off lead. They wanted Ezra muzzled at first
to see how she would react to him, as Ezra went into an utter state of panic
with the muzzle on I took it off her again and she didn't even bat en eye in
his direction. She found a ball that she started to play with and didn't
mind him sniffing her.
We have decided to give it a try so we are picking him up tomorrow, now
we will have to see what Ezra thinks of sharing her home with another dog.
The rescue didn't have any home checkers in our area, so no check is
done. They said that they liked us and Ezra and the work we have done with
her so far !!!

Morten is out buying a new leash, collar, bed and other dog stuff as our
new family member came a bit sudden

Lone (still holding on to her chair)
