4:45pm: finish washing kitchen floor, a way overdue task because the
kitchen is the biggest room in my house and I hate washing floors.

5:15: drop container of terikyaki rice (with a lot of sauce) on kitchen
floor.

5:30: knock precariously perched can of tomato sauce off refrigerator
shelf. Lid flies off as can hits floor. Note to self: put open cans
of stuff in containers with lids that don't come off easily.

The only good thing to come out of all this: when I told Laika to
"leave it" as he was trying to eat the messes I was trying to clean up,
he did, without any snarling or snapping! He's unbelievable food
protective, gets almost hysterical if you try to remove food, and after
almost 5 years of working with him on this, he's finally getting better!
He was amply rewarded with turkey treats for his good behaviour.
