Default How hot is too hot for dogs (at rest)?

During the day, we have been keeping our two dogs (both approx. 7 years
old--the boy is a lab/samoyed mix, 70 lbs; the girl is a bordie
collie/shepherd mix, 60 lbs) in the garage.

Plenty of water, nice clean smooth concrete floor, filtered light.

Today I checked the thermometer in the garage: 85 degrees F. (approx 30
degrees C.).

The dogs seemed comfortable.

So, please, how hot is too hot for these dogs in the described conditions
when they are sleeping or are at rest?

Would slightly raising the garage door help--if it's 90 degrees F outside?

Thanks for your advice,
Chas
