Default Nice gesture

Our GSD rescue had the year's major fundraiser yesterday, and we had
dogs and handlers from various police depts, assistance groups, etc.
present all day and at the banquet & silent auction. One young
soldier from Travis AFB was there with his bomb detection dog. He
really loved a large bronze statue of a GSD in the silent auction but
stopped bidding when it exceeded his budget. The woman who won the
bid carried the statue over to his table and gave it to him, saying
"Thank you for protecting us".
