Default Humping

hi everyone.

I have a 8 week old BT Atlas. Last night he was playing and jumped on the
snake for the door (you know, it stops cold air getting in under the door)
and started humping it.

It this normal behaviour for a 8 week old? I understand that it is a natural
thing they do (our 3 year old bulldog humped everything until we gave him a
basketball to use) but I thought that 8 weeks of age was a bit young to
start!

Thanks for any advice or comments

Cin
