The weather down here has finally cooled off enough that we are
itching to plan a family camping weekend. But - WTF is up with
"State Parks" not allowing dogs in the campgrounds. We've got a few
favorite campgrounds we have gone to in the past (pre-chloe) that are
state parks, are nice, secluded, fun and we have a great time. But
Florida has this stupid law that doesn't allow dogs at a state park.
STUPID!!!

We HATE campgrounds that are really RV Parks (in florida that means
old people/retirees who drive their RVs down to spend the winter).
We are a young family. DF and I are in our young 30's and my son is
10. We want a fun, family oriented spot that also has activities.

(hey, I just found where they do allow dogs in some of the sites).

Any other floridians who enjoy camping that know of good spots for
families that are pet friendly?
