Default I never thought I'd have a well-trained cat...

Yet I have battle scars from trimming the puppy's nails (more than the cat
has EVER attempted to give me, just scratches, he only tried the teeth once
and decided that THAT was totally not working).

I followed it up with the cat, who kept mewing like a week old kitten
through the process but held completely still until I was finished.

Me thinks someone will start having his nails trimmed in exchange for his
breakfast.

Puppy: 25 minutes.
Cat: 30 seconds.

I think your puppy needs to get out more if you have to clip his nails
at that age.

He needs to be taught that I am bigger and stronger than he is, so when it's
not true he thinks so.

Furthermore, he IS taken out DAILY, but I don't walk him on concrete. He
goes to the park, where he can swim and run.
