Default Strange Behavior with a beagle

I have a 4 year old Beagle, and she's been acting strange.
Basicall, whenever anyone tries to pet her or something, she'll run off, to
one of her regular sleeping places. If someone bothers her there, she'll run
off to the next one.
Is this the "typical behavior" of a dog that wishes to be left alone?

Thanks

Has this behavior just come about....or has she always gone off to one of her
areas after she has had enough? Personally, I have two Beagles and both
absolutely love attention. They wouldn't move from anyone that was doting,
petting or even touching them - LOL! If this is something new for her....I
think a vet appointment is in order asap. Something may be bothering her that
she only shows signs of when touched.

Good Luck,
Jan
