Instant Review: The Kennel Murder Case
i've been cheesing out to some old movies via Netflix. last
night i watched The Kennel Murder Case (1933). it's a locked room mystery with a so-so plot. what was interesting to me was the dogs. the two main dogs are a Scottie and a Dobe, with bit parts by a Greyhound, a few English Bulldogs, a Peke, a Pom, and some other small dogs i couldn't identify. the Dobe fascinated me. he had a beautifully straight topline, a blunter muzzle, and a working crop--nothing like the interstellar radar that Robin's Viva has G. at the end of the movie, you actually get to see the Dobe take down the "bad guy." oh, and i finally got to see season 2 of the Osbournes. i laughed, i cried, and i laughed again so hard i nearly PMP. that Lola is one serious cutiepie! -- shelly (perfectly foul wench) and elliott and harriet http://home.bluemarble.net/~scouvrette |
