Default 1 Year Old Beagle Chewing up everything!

Help! She's chewed up 2 sets of retainers (@ $450 each), my husband's
passport, pillows, dog beds, the rug, the rug liner & digging to China
in the back yard. I've tried giving her lots of chew toys & keeping
her as supervised as possible & all things valuable out of her area
(we've baby-gated off the kitchen & she has that & the yard) - can't
believe she found a way to get up on the high kitchen table & grab the
2nd set of retainers last night. Otherwise, she's sweet &
wonderful... What should we do?

1. Don't leave that stuff out.
2. Supervise her.
3. Give her more exercise.
4. Look at crate training as a method of slowly expanding her
territory.

Get her out an involved in some physical & mental activities.

Beagles chew on anything and everything their whole life long. I have a 4
year old and still have to put stuff up if I can't watch him every minute.
They stay puppies forever. He will get better about it if he has enough of
his own things to chew on.
Good Luck
