Default What the hell is going on in my dogs head?

I have a beautiful 11 mo old Akita she's very loving but she is
driving me nuts. She know she's supposed to go outside to go to the
bathroom because she does it for the most part, but now and then she
will go in the den that leads out to the back yard when the door
outside is open or sometimes right after she has come back in, twice
in the last two days she taken a bowel movement on the sofa while the
door was open. Is my Sarra trying to tell me something?

yes, she is trying to tell you she isn't properly housetrained.
she needs more supervision, evidentally, until you are sure she knows where
to go.

Hmm... a trip to the vet could be a good idea.
Do you think you spend enough time with her doing stuff, could she be bored?
What do you do when she has an accident inside? Do you clean it up silently
and don't make a fuss?
How often do you take her outside? Maybe you will have to see to it that she
does go outside. If you do not have a cue for peeing and pooping, try to get
one. If she is completely healthy then you will have to basically start over
again with getting her housebroken.
Is she usually allowed on the sofa?

Rosa
