Default update on Blade/bladder stones/dietary change

Wenesday and Thursday morning early
Blade vomited. Which of course
this was of very much concern.

I took his x-rays to his regular
vet yesterday for her to look
at the stones. I was never
able to get her by phone because
she was out and about all day
long as she is a mobil vet. The
downside of her practice in
one way.

She looked at the x-ray. The stones
he has are not gall stones(I think
DH misunderstood the one Vet)
but rather bladder stones. She informed
me that some bladder stones
can be dissolved. So I am going
to have to catch urine and give her
a sample. If they can't be dissolved
he will have to undergo yet
another surgery soon to remove
them.

He will have to have a change of diet
from the Canidae and now I am
looking for a new type of food.

I am wondering which company
makes food that is venison and
rice or venison and something
or duck. Does anyone know who
makes this kind of mixture.
I am on one hand inclined to
feed the "Wellness" fish and sweet
potatoe but I wasn't that impressed
with "Wellness" the one time I did
buy it.

These stones of course are similar
to what cats get when they have
the crystalization or urinary tracy
problem.

Gwen
