"What they were born to do"
Bringing Duncan:
http://www.sbacc.org/DOGS%20Current/duncanfull.jpg home for my cats (and Mac) to 'educate'. Is it perverse, i.e. cruel, to expect a terrier to co-exist with cats and varmints? Is it coincidence that my last three dogs, herding breeds, except Mac, have come to the defense of small animals? Once dog-sat a doxie who chased cats; my OES cornered her and lay down on her. Worked a charm. |

Depends on the terrier. Many are known to co-exist happily for years with a cat (or varmits) and then one day out of the blue, the owner comes home to a dead cat. -- Emily Carroll Dealing 80s Toys - Rainbow Brite - My Little Pony - More Fluttervale Labradors: www.geocities.com/diamonds_in_her_eyes/dogs/ CPG: www.geocities.com/cyberpetgame/ 4-H Club: www.geocities.com/woofsandwiggles/ --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Oh, BTW, FurPaw. When I left, there had been three adopters wanting
Duncan. Said nix until we've seen what _he likes. (Ah, the joy of being non-public -- you can be as arrogant as you please. People looking for lap-dogs want him; they're barkin' up the wrong boy. |
