Well, my plans for getting a sighthound are on hold. I adopted Ella, the mom to
the pups I fostered. I found that after almost 3 months I wasn't up to putting
her into a whole new situation, starting over again. She is delighted to be
here for good and she is generally glued to me. I helped her with her pups,
helped stave off mastitis, and so on. She has decided that I am the center of
her universe. She has enough medical issues that it might have been a burden
for someone else to take on. I am glad we kept her. She fits in nicely with the
gang. Thanksgiving eve will be her gotchya day from here on out.
