Default A favor..

I know many of you don't know me well if at all, but I would like to ask a
collective favor. Eric (SO) had to send his 21 yr old kitty to the bridge
last night. He is a very stoic man, but he openly cried--I know he is
hurting a lot. It was very peaceful and quick. He had a very hard time
leaving her at the clinic. Please think of him, and send him healing
thoughts. I know it will take him a long time to recover, but any help
easing his pain would be much appreciated.

Awe Abby that makes me cry too. A 21 one year old cat is so
much a part of a persons life! I know your SO must
be in lots of pain.

I am sending him healing vibs. I know it is going to take
him a long time to get over this. Have you thought
of obtaining a "Memorial tree" in honor of the kitty? It
really helps and it does make it seem as life is going on
in a different form.

No, we haven't. What is it? What we did do is take imprints of her paws
on a piece of clay and baked it. He also has imprints in another material
that he mounted with her photo (part of a kit).

Any kind of tree you like. Blooming in a way is better. It makes
it very special in the spring. But that of course is a special
choice. We planted a Texas Redbud tree in honor of
Murphy at his gravesite. I sure hope it blooms next year.

That sounds very good. I wish I could send your SO a card
but then he doesn't know me at all. Just let him know
that people are thinking about him and feel his pain.
