Default dog thefts

- Lately there seems to be a lot of dog thefts going on here. Dogs get
stolen from cars, gardens, houses even snatched from the owners when out on
a walk. Often the dogs don't surface again, other times the owners will be
contacted by the thieves an told to pay a ransom if they want their dog
back.
I really wonder what is wrong with people, is there really money in
stealing dogs ? There must be since it happens but still, a dog isn't like a
telly or some other dead thing that can be sold at the nearest pub.

For once I can actually see a positive side to having dogs that are not
kissy, kissy with strangers.

Lone
