My dog -- half chow, half beagle -- always waits for our other dog... a
"black dog" to urinate, and then he makes a beeline for her spot and
proceeds to put dip his nose and mouth in it. Then he sticks his tongue
in it. I don't think he really drinks because he's not slurping like he
does his water bowl, but once he's through, he looks up at us and he's
kind of smacking his lips. Not licking, but just moving his jaws up and
down as if he's smacking.

He'd done this with our other dog before who has since died. I never
could figure out why he's doing this. Any ideas?
