Default R.I.P. Peter Cottontail

well, it finally happened. a few days ago, the dogs caught
Peter Cottontail. he was cleft in twain and *entirely*
consumed--ears and all! they were quick and efficient about
it, and if it hadn't been for the fact that harriet came
inside with bloody front legs, i would've never known. when
it got light enough for me to go look at the scene of the
murder, all that was left was a bloody spot and a few tufty
bits of bunny fluff.

i'm equally impressed and grossed out. i'm also relieved that
it was Mr. Bun Bun and not the little Poodly dog from across
the lane. *that* would've made me ill.
