Pup Wakes/Whines Early AM
We have a Westie puppy who is in a cage in our living room. He wakes up
about 4:30 AM and starts to whine and bark. I then have to get up, take him out of the cage and then the dog is fine. The trouble is that I then cannot get back to sleep. I get the impression our puppy just wants company, because if I am up or lying down on the sofa in our living room, the puppy quiets down. Any ideas on how to correct this behavior so that I can sleep in the morning? Thanks. Pedro -- To contact me directly by email, please remove the words "NO" and "SPAM" from the reply address above. |
