To Jana--Double command Q
Your Q:
In competition, if you don't tell your dog to "stay" but instead tell it to "sit", would you be deducted for double commanding? I spoke to an AKC judge that I know and he said that you will not be penalized for a double command if you give your sit/down or stand command a second time instead of saying stay on the sits and downs or the stand for exam. -- Kristen and Kali CDX, CGC, TDIA, TT www.kristenandkali.com |
