dog is compulsive licker
I've got a 2 year old female yellow lab. I let her have the roam of
the house, including my bed and furniture. At times she'll lick the furniture for long periods of time. Why is this? Is she missing something from her diet? I only feed her dog food, she doesn't get any people food. I'm also considering getting her bred during her next cycle. When she has her pups I was going to build a pen for her in the basement. For dogs who strive to be whereever their master is at all times, like she is, will having a litter of pups change that? I mean if I make a pen downstairs for her and her pups will she stay down there by herself with them if I'm not down there? |
